This humpback whale was shot from a tour boat in Monterey on a clear but very windy and turbulent day. I had to hand hold the camera with my long zoom attached. This whale just seemed to jump up to greet me with a salute, just as I was beginning to give up hope that I would have any good shots this day. Hope to see him again someday.
